I finally payed attention to this for a brief second yesterday. lunging for his security detail - and trying to grab control of the wheel makes for interesting stuff

but in 5 seconds, I quickly see this is the kangaroo court shit you get when it is one side conducting a witch hunt. the democrats are an embarrassment to logic and sanity

"The president said something to the effect of, 'I'm the f'ing president. Take me up to the Capitol now," Hutchinson testified, relaying what she was told later that day by another White House aide

If you weren't a demented geezer and read more history then you'd know it took over two years from Watergate to Nixon's resignation. Ford pardoned him a month later.

    The crime: June 17, 1972

    The resignation: August 9, 1974

    The pardon: September 8, 1974

    Trump won't be pardoned. LOL

Then what are the idiots in the Democratic Party of Lying Jackasses waiting for? They've had more than 500 days to make the case?

The truth here, there is NO evidence that Trump had any part in the violence that occurred at the capital. There was no insurrection. That's a moronic DNC narrative lacking proper definition. There was no coup. That's a moronic DNC narrative lacking proper definition.

The morons in the Democratic Party of Lying Jackasses already tried to impeach Trump on the same charges, and they failed. In November, the morons in the Democratic Party of Lying Jackasses are losing their majority in the House and in the Senate. Then it will be time to investigate the Biden's for their lies, corruption and influence peddling. They are the REAL corrupt criminals.

Leftists will continue to beat their tiny little fists on the table screeching "BUT TRUMP" America is tired of hearing them and will move on.
Sweetheart, your personal opinions mean shit. You are on record defending anything and everything Trump has ever done.

Two-thirds of Americans say they think that former President Trump should be prosecuted for his efforts to overturn the 2020 election, according to a new poll.
A Politico-Morning Consult poll released on Wednesday asked respondents if they believed Trump’s efforts to overturn the last presidential election’s results was a crime and that he should face prosecution.
Sixty-six percent of respondents said that they thought it was a crime and should be prosecuted, while 19 percent said it was not a crime and 18 percent said they thought it was a crime but Trump should not be prosecuted.
A majority of respondents also believed that Trump misled people in the country about the 2020 election outcome (57 percent), tried to overturn the 2020 election results (65 percent) and claimed fraud had been committed in the last election without evidence (64 percent).
The poll comes amid the latest hearing held by the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol attack.
The panel heard from Cassidy Hutchinson, a former special assistant to former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows, on Tuesday, in which she offered surprising new insight into the days before and after the Capitol riot.
Among some of the revelations offered during her in-person and recorded testimony, they included acknowledgements from within the White House that things could go wrong on Jan. 6, that the former president’s efforts to toss the last presidential election’s results were warned as being illegal to Trump and that the former president allegedly lunged at a Secret Service agent in an effort to go to the Capitol that day.
Her testimony was immediately dismissed by Trump on his Truth Social platform in which he said, “I hardly know who this person, Cassidy Hutchinson, is, other than I heard very negative things about her (a total phony and ‘leaker’).”
The Morning Consult-Politico poll was conducted between June 24 and June 26 with a sample of 2,004 registered voters. The margin of error is plus or minus two percentage points.
Short of the 5th Ave murder, Garland won’t prosecute Trump, prosecuting a former President isn’t a good look for the country, and plays right into Trump’s martyr schtick. With Trump’s army of attorneys, accountants, and SCOTUS working for him, any prosecution would extend further than his life time. Besides, Garland doesn’t need to, this Committee is laying out the case for the American public, they are the jury

In addition, as a Democrat, I want to see Trump run in 2024, with all this coming out now, that would end the Trumps, politically and personally, no way he could love being a recognized two time loser

Sure I do. Lies were told and taken as gospel. The Democrats running the fiasco damaged their credibility beyond all repair.

You better hope there's better Democrats running things by November and 2024 if you like to see Democrats win.

    I would if they'd be Americans, but they won't; So I don't.

    What’s the hurry?

As far as evidence, they, we, know now that Trump himself knew the Big Lie was a lie, but he still raised money off it, not quite copacetic. Trump also knew people in the crowd at his speech, same speech he told them to fight like hell and previous speakers said would be war, were carrying deadly weapons, yet he told them still to march on the Capitol, another possible illegality

And as far as a coup, as mentioned, Trump knew the Big Lie was a lie, yet he used to in an attempt to stop Congress from carrying out its Constitutional responsibilities of officially recognizing the transfer of power as authorized by the American people, in other words, Trump trying to keep power. May not be the classical understanding of a political coup, but close
