Basically, if you don't start verifying sources on all your stories like a good editor should (historically three separate sources are required by editors before they publish your story) then expect this to be the norm rather than an exception. You should be particularly upset that this "journalism" got into your head and you used it to form your opinions.
She deceived them. End of story.

She deceived far more than "them", she deceived everyone that read the articles and formed opinions from the articles. She provided fictional propaganda that passed through their checks because they did not check, these folks who pretend to "check" others do not themselves verify their own sources. Nobody should be using these folks to check anything or to form an opinion. The idea that we should ignore the far reaching consequences of such an egregious act is IMHO purposeful ignorance.

This is like when CBS just made crap up about Bush and y'all just moved on....
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. We now know and she resigned. They are working on making sure it won't happen again. Not sure why people are outraged. Fox News deceive their audience and nobody bats an eye. That is pure hypocrisy.

    She resigned last April.

I am not "outraged" I am just wondering why you so quietly accept that you form your opinions from trash. "They do it too!" is a confession.

I don't even know who the author was. I never read her articles and I am betting not many did either. So it's a nothingburger. Just another faux outrage to rile up Trump base.
