The only reason a knowledgeable gun carrying "average person" would hesitate to shoot a perp is if there was another innocent person behind the shooter.
The "golden rules" are know your target, your own capability and especially what's behind the target. Common sense, actually.
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.

Fuck ya and damn ya. People need to be around that have the gumption to stick up for the kids.

You're on a trajectory for superfail.

Have you ever actually shot at someone? Because there are studies showing that most people, including police, would hesitate. I know you have cowboy hero fantasies about yourself, but unless you've actually done it, you won't know for sure how you'll react and to claim otherwise is talking out of your ass.

There are already over 20,000 gun laws on the books. In case you didn't know, shooting innocent people and kids is already against the law.

Unless you're worried more about your own life instead of saving others.

    Leftists will say that's a valid argument, I won't.

Nope. Everything I shoot at is considered a target, nothing more, or nothing less. That includes paper or everything I hunt.
The only people who will hesitate are those who see a living creature in their sights.

No. We need to ban the distribution of these types of firearms, and if someone sells a banned firearm and the firearm is used to murder someone, the seller ought to also be charged with murder. It's really that simple.

Ok, Steven Seagal. You'd shit your panties at the first sign of danger and we both know it.

You ever try shooting a target in the middle of an adrenaline rush while fearing for your life?

I never hesitated ary a lick when I saw a rabbit in my sights. 75% of the time I could nail one on a dead run right in the head. 20% was body shots and it still died and was meat.

The meat wasn't as good, though with that 20%.

If that's the case, you're unarmed or a coward.

Leftists are stupid when it comes to guns, as is shown here.
