The way our brokedick founders wrote the constitution, Republicans can be outnumbered and still control the government with total constitutional compliance.

How gay were those powdered wigs? The forefathers may have all been gay, so at least one might suggest they were LGBTQ Friendly types.

But our forefathers were Plutocrats, Elitists, Sexists, Misogynists, Clerics, and Racists before anything else, as only rich land holders were allowed to take part in the Democratic process.

Most everyone else were either indentured slaves, WOMEN, Children, or Black Slaves that had no freedom rights or representation.

Our constitution wouldn't earn a C- in any good law school freshman class today.
    Knowledge and understanding matter.
    The framers didn't have either.
Good intentions buy you jack shit if you don't know what you're doing, and even their intentions were suspect.

You think forming an efficient form of government doesn't matter, as long as we have the Bill of Rights.
    That's a genuinely psychotic opinion.

An efficient democratic republic is impossible with the level of polarity we have in America.
Dystopia or partition are the only options with what we have now.

The viscerally felt hatred between Middle American rubes and Coastal American sophisticates is palpable.
Partition is the only answer for it.

I'll tell you the REAL definition of insanity.

It's believing that there are moderate solutions to immoderate problems.
Timid people can't face the reality of just how fucked up we are right now.
We're on the precipice of another Dark Ages period, simply because of the number of intellectually deficient people we have.
The Democrats losing control is the same as the Romans losing control of themselves and Europe both. Centuries of human progress will once again be lost as it was back then.

It's inevitable, and partition is the ONLY possible way to avoid it.

If we get through this shit, it will probably be more because of luck than anything planned and executed. We have people on the same side of the "democracy question" right here in this thread tearing into each other.

We are a generation who has pissed on the Republic entrusted to us for a short time.

Anyway, I wish the US the best of luck. It will need it.
Both the red and blue teams are guilty of authoritarianism.
True, Trump not accepting the results of an election was anti- democratic but so was obamas militarization of the EPA and using agencies to make “rules” to circumvent congress into making laws.
Now we have the “Ministry of Disinformation “ being used to suppress negative information about the authoritarian Left and for propaganda purposes.
    . How telling.
