Agreed. The reality of war should be revealed to all adults so they won’t be eager to enter into one.

When the Bush Administration wanted to start a war with Iraq it was supported by all the chickenhawks and opposed by the few combat veterans in the administration. Specifically General Colin Powell.

A similar problem occurred in the Trump administration when Generals Kelley and Mattis disagreed with Trump then were fired by Trump.
