Over the years, I've read and listened to reports by and on parents who "perceived" that their 4-5 yr. old was gay, and proceeded to raise that kid in a fashion that "would not hinder or dissuade the child's development in that direction. No joke. Living in the NY suburbs and working/living in NYC all my life, I've access to all types of information via local/national media.

This type of attitude can and has led to kids being more prone to bisexual experiences/attitudes/experimenting than say a child raised by parents who treat child as their physical/biological gender shows.

I understand your point.

I do not think I would call that nurturing a child towards gayness.

It is more to just a liberal life style.

But focusing on why makes it seem to matter, who cares why, it is reality that some people are gay and it’s nothing to discriminate against anyone about.

If you understood my point, then you wouldn't have made that erroneous statement.

My parents are "straight" liberals (albeit registered Democrats). I have straight "liberal" friends & relatives who are married parents. NONE of these folk do the "nurturing" that I previously described. Yet, there have been gay children born among them...the rare exceptions to the majority of straight kids born. I would assert that this is the same for "straight" conservative married parents on the whole.
What I previously pointed to is what is being done by SOME parents. l
