Default If you hire children, you are taking responsibility for them

If you hire children, you are taking responsibility for them. I really do not know how this can be a controversial statement. I know it is all the vogue these days to add stuff to statements to change their meaning. So I will point out that neither I nor Biden have said that these children are not the parents' responsibility anymore. And no one is saying anyone owns the children.

But employers have a greater duty of care when hiring children. Taking a 14 year old child and having her work in a men's locker room as a "towel girl" for tips is not OK. trump's employment of underage "towel girls" is not OK. He continues to use them, so it continues to be a current issue.

his "plausible deniability" that he did not know that they were being sexually abused is a partial, but incomplete defense. he failed in his duty to protect these children.

When a Democrat becomes Attorney General of Florida, the first thing he will do is subpoena trump's "towel girl" records, and see how many of them got out of court settlements. I would bet it is quite a few.
Daniel Patrick Moynihan said it best, "You are entitled to your opinion. But you are not entitled to your own facts."

Stephen Colbert, "Reality has a well known liberal bias."
trump is a child rapist. We all know it.

Ms Giuffre was working as a locker room attendant at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-59974220

We keep coming back to why was a 14 year old girl working in a locker room as a towel girl. It is just so out of gear with anything reasonable. She was working for tips handing towels to naked men? This sounds more like a brothel than a sports club, and a brothel with underage girls.

Giuffre said in a July 2020 deposition that she was 16 when she first met Maxwell at Mar-a-Lago in the summer of 2000.

Maxwell offered her an interview for the chance to train as a massage therapist.
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-59974220

So there this underage girl was working for trump, when she was offered a position with Maxwell. When you employ an underage child, you take responsibility for them. At best, we can claim that trump did not protect the children in his employment... But I think it goes far worse.

Prosecutors called one of Trump's Mar-a-Lago employees to testify at Ghislaine Maxwell's trial

And back we are at Mar-a-Lago.

Giuffre is not an accuser for the purposes of Maxwell's trial, but her story was backed by a witness who testified.
    https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/...190002529.html

Wait there are others connected to Mar-a-Lago?

A Maxwell accuser, who testified under the pseudonym "Jane," said Epstein took her to Mar-a-Lago to meet Trump when she was 14.
    https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/...190002529.html

Shopping poor Jane around. I wonder why she did not make the cut for trump?

Another accuser, who testified under the pseudonym "Kate," said Epstein and Maxwell would often namedrop Trump, among other famous friends.
    https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/...190002529.html

And trump name dropped Epstein right back. trump said, "I've known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life."

Monday, he discovered that there would be only two attendees. “At the very first party, I said, ‘Who’s coming tonight? I have 28 girls coming.’ It was him and Epstein,” Houraney recalled. “I said, ‘Donald, this is supposed to be a party with V.I.P.s. You’re telling me it’s you and Epstein?’” The anecdote underscores the friendship between the pair, and suggests that their relationship proceeded in spite of warnings about Epstein’s behavior. Houraney “pretty much had to ban Jeff from my events,” he said. “Trump didn’t care about that.”

So trump and Epstein would throw parties with 28 women or were they girls? They really did not care.

But it gets so much worse. Here is the civil complaint against trump and Epstein for raping a 13 year old girl.

In the article, the term "locker room attandant" is used, but the duties and the situation is not described.

Since this seems to be a hit piece, if the details were damning, it seems they would have been included.

What were the details of the position? Is it legal for a 14 year old to be employed in Florida? Was the attendant position set in a 'common' area frequented by folks outside the confines of the locker rooms for either gender?
