    Default The French Presidential Election

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_F...ntial_election
The first round of the 2022 French presidential election was held on 10 April 2022. A run-off will be held between the top two candidates on 24 April 2022. The incumbent president of France, Emmanuel Macron of La République En Marche! (LREM), who won the 2017 presidential election and whose first term lasts until 13 May 2022, announced on 3 March 2022 that he was launching his re-election bid to a second five-year term for which he is eligible under the Constitution of France. His opponent in the second round will be Marine Le Pen, leader of the National Rally (RN), whom he defeated in 2017.[4][5][6]

The election will take place just before the 2022 legislative election, that will be held on 12 June with runoffs on 19 June, to elect the 577 members of the National Assembly, the lower house of the French Parliament.

As of 2022, no president has won re-election since the 2002 French presidential election.
Be advised that our pro-EU, pro-NATO, anti-Russian incumbent asshole , Macron,

is in danger of losing to the anti-EU, anti-NATO, pro-Russian challenger, Marine le Pen

What I want to know is- what is the CIA doing to prevent Marine le Pen's election and, should she beat the incumbent asshole, what plans are in place to remove her ?

French presidential contender weighs in on Russian sanctions
Le Pen is against imposing energy sanctions on Moscow

French presidential candidate, Marine Le Pen, in an interview on Tuesday, raised her voice against imposing sanctions on Russia’s energy exports since, she believes, the French will have to pay dearly for those restrictions. Le Pen noted that she is not against anti-Russian sanctions in other sectors of the economy.

“I stand against sanctions concerning energy because I do not want the French to bear the full brunt of the consequences of such a decision aimed at cutting gas or oil imports. I know what those consequences will be,” the leader of the National Rally told France Inter radio. “I am here to protect the interests of the French people.”

Marine le Pen used to be anti-EU, but that got her nowhere, so now she is pro-EU. She used to want to remove France from the Euro, but now she claims she is a huge supporter of the Euro.

She is even trying her best to run from her previous pro-Putin position.

unfortunate timing for their election. its like Le Pen designed it to assure she wins.

two years of lockdowns, economic woes and threat of massively higher energy costs (on top of the already massively high energy costs...

Macron had better find video of La Pen eating a live baby.

EU anti-fraud body accuses Marine Le Pen of embezzlement
Report alleges Rassemblement National leader and others misused about €620,000 in funds while serving in European parliament

The European Union’s anti-fraud body has accused Marine Le Pen and several of her party members – including her father – of embezzling about €620,000 while serving as members of the European parliament.

France’s investigative website Mediapart published a section of the new 116-report alleging that the MEPs misused EU funds for national party purposes.

The claims come a week before the second round of the presidential election, on 24 April, in which Le Pen will go head to head with Emmanuel Macron.

They'll be keeping that in reserve. A Russia-loving embezzler will do for now.

Jailed Putin critic Navalny calls on France to vote for Macron
Imprisoned Russian opposition leader says France is ‘close’ to his heart and he felt he could address the French people for a number of reasons.

Jailed Kremlin critic Alexey Navalny has called on French voters to support incumbent President Emmanuel Macron in the presidential election, accusing his far-right opponent Marine Le Pen’s party of links to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

It's reported as a draw- so Macron is likely to survive.

It may be a draw in the far right media. but not anywhere else. Macron will be do better than he did in 2017.

"You're not speaking to other leaders, you're speaking to your banker when you're talking to Russia. That's the problem Mrs. Le Pen," Macron said.

Macron’s projected lead for Sunday’s decisive second-round vote now averages eight or nine percentage points across all polls, with the latest, published on Tuesday, suggesting the gap has widened from eight to 12 points since Friday.

I could go on and on... But everyone is reporting the same facts. Anything is possible, but it would be bizarre if Le Pen could turn this around. You can call it "a draw", but you are alone in that.
