    Default Taming Terror

This was posted on the C -n- C yesterday and I thought that most of you would find it interesting.

What happens when a prisoner is set free from the U.S. prison camp at Guantanamo? David Martin goes inside a Saudi Arabian program, which teaches alleged terrorists that Osama Bin Laden is all wrong. 12:45 minutes http://www.fancast.com/tv/60-Minutes...-Terror/videos (Sorry, if you have an older computer this may not play)

Hmmm... I'll see if I can work out an embed for fancast...
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.

I'd like to see the Saudi's "hard approach" and how that compares to Gitmo.

    That one worked.

I am sure that if you were to fly to Saudi Arabia and kick the crowned prince in the crouch, you would find out just how hard their punishment could be. Now, this 60 minute bit does put a new light of the subject. My question is what were we to do with all those we were holding?

Perhaps we should let them experience the Saudi treatment.
