I also believe in term limits, however we will never see them for Congress unless we call a Constitutional Convention or a Convention of the States. (Yes, this is a thing in the Constitution).
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. It is.

I hear the Second Amendment only applies to government troops or something, though, so maybe the Constitution doesn't mean what we think it does.

Nasty Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is considering a push to enact term limits on DEMOCRAT committee chairs

Term limits for them, but not for this DEM?

Why am I a hypocrite, what that simply mean Leggie, is that if a person who is 80 wants to run for office and they are capable, I’m fine with it, but at the same time I support term limits in office, I think two terms for a Senator is enough.

I'd say four to six for the House, 2 terms for the Senate. 2 for the President is already there.

And yeah, I could not care less how old they are when they run, other than the 25 and 30 year lower limits.

So what you're saying is that you support terms limits, not for DEMOCRATS in the House?

    "if they are capable?"

"run for office"? She's been in office for 35 years.

    Hypocrite.
Dear Legion, there is no current law which requires Nancy Pelosi to step down, I support term limits, but until the law is changed, there is nothing I can do. Nancy is free to run and her district is free to vote for her. That is not hypocrisy. It the way it is.

Yes for Nancy, and Diane and Don, and Lindsey and Grassley, for Mitch too, the list goes on…I discuss it often with politicians, but the funny thing is, none of them support it. How do you change the law when the lawmakers don’t want it changed. Got any ideas?
