Gorebal Warming is my derisive name of this nonsense. It derives from Al Gore, High Priest of the Church of Gorebal Warming and all of his faithful followers. Like many things on the Left, they have to keep changing the name because the current term becomes a pejorative. Liberal to Progressive is another example. Calling someone a "liberal" is to most people an insult. The Left caused that to happen. Thus, their shift to "progressive" to avoid being insulted. Progressive will become an insult at some point just as liberal has, and the Left will cast about and find another label for themselves usurping yet another word in their never-ending battle to keep themselves relevant.

That's an old talking point. It's been "climate change" for decades.

Warming actually IS part of climate change - but so are weather extremes. All of which we're seeing.

And really, the right no longer denies this aspect of it. THEIR talking point is now, okay, it's happening - but man has nothing to do w/ it.

In what region of the entire planet has the climate actually changed in the last 500 years?
If you can’t answer I understand.

Are you looking for intensifying of events, new records of temperature, wind-strength , drought, flooding, ice-melt etc ?
I'll understand if you don't know.

Essentially, a universal effort to prevent a catastrophic rise in global warming.

No. . Nothing you mentioned are regions of the planet. Nor is anything you mentioned in the
Köppen–Geiger climate classification system. You didn’t answer the question. I understand.

I mean which metrics are used to define climate, as you insisted on knowing before you could name a changed region.

I understand that you don't understand your own question.

The effect of global warming - in its most dramatic- can be seen in ice-melts. Ice-melts are occurring in many ' regions' . Take your pick- or deny it entirely. You're insignificant either way.

I happen to be on the island of Mo’orea at the moment. Ice is melting in my coffee.
Anyway you’ve been given two opportunities to give any one region of the planet where the Köppen climate classification has changed in the last 500 years and have failed both times. I’ll have to take that as an admission from you that there has been no climate change anywhere in that time.
