Clinton was a centrist, not a liberal. And before you complain, that is what he called himself.

What a lunatic he is now. He's also been one of the more vocal proponents of the Big Lie.

He could have had the legacy of a statesman. What he & Clinton accomplished by working TOGETHER in the '90's was great for the country, and probably the last time we've seen that kind of comity between the parties and commitment to working for the common good.

Now, he's just a clown, dancing for Trump like the rest of 'em.
Another sign the RepuliQuans are shitting in their panties over what the Jan. 6 committee will expose. There must be some pretty damaging shit if the RepubliQans are calling up Newt to make threats of these kinds. But they're laughable and Gingrich is wasting his fucking time. His new facelift looks pretty good, though.
Judge Juan M. Merchan wrote that Trump “appears to take the position that his situation and this case are unique and that the pre-trial publicity will never subside. However, this view does not align with reality.”

Clinton’s Democrat party lost big in the House so he gave a speech saying the era of Big Government was over then He started to work with Gingrich and Gingrich helped change the direction of Clinton’s agenda. Gingrich hasn’t changed the Democrats have. They are heading the wrong way again. The polls say 72% believe America is heading the wrong direction. They will fail again unless they change course again. You agreed Clinton and Gringrich were successful

    So, no verbiage?

What you provided is mostly stuff I didn't say. I was praising them for working together - that's it. You put words in my mouth.

    Are you kidding?

Newt Gingrich absolutely destroyed respect for bipartisanship. Up until his leadership, Republicans and Democrats would respectfully oppose one another in Congress during the daytime, and then go out to dinner in the evening and share friendships. Gingrich destroyed all of that. He told his colleagues not to speak to the Democrats unless it was in opposition to policy. It has been that way ever since.

Gingrich took respect, and turned it into hatred.

It wasn't great for the country at all. They shut down the government over their disputes. It was a complete abandonment of dedication to country and a great shift from being American first to being Republican first.
