The JAVELIN (wireless TOW) can hit tanks ( armour) from a drop down onto their top thinner armor
whereas some of the Russian tanks might withstand a flank attack by a JAVELIN

I dont see much use for drones, but they halted Hiftar's advance on Tripoli...
