Pretty obvious why, Russia has them by the short and curlies. Germany and France both have an abundance of shale gas but they are beholden to the ignorant Greens who control their energy policy.

'France and Germany keeping VERY quiet' Expert explains reason behind EU shame on Ukraine

FRANCE and Germany are keeping "very quiet" about the threat of imminent war between Ukraine and Russia, as one foreign affairs expert laid out the reasons why.

Foreign affairs expert James Marlow explained that the EU is "meant to speak with one voice" but the bloc has been paralysed, despite the threat of imminent war. He told GB News that the silence from the EU is "deafening" because Germany and France rely so heavily on Russia.

Germany only has two percent of gas in its own country. Because it moves so fast, Germany is not ready for alternative energies. "So it has to rely on Russia. France has the same issues.

The lesson is that the German prove re "green energy" and "Saving the Planet" that thinking things though is required still just as it ever was.

Forget this and you fuck yourself.

I doubt if Macron or Scholz are interested in getting involved in potential European border war with Russia
    -other then formal NATO requirements

Everything with the Left is driven by emotion, they think you can drive an energy policy with empty slogans and propaganda. I think a hard lesson is about to be learnt by these fools.

Germany needs Nordstream 2 as much as Russia need the cash sales (obviously)
I havent heard how the winter prices are going for LNG for Europe.
Upto now it's been a mild winter in the USA - but it did now get frigid..My little gas bill went up by about 30%

Ukrainians have made it abundantly clear that they don't want to be controlled by Russia ever again, why do you find that so hard to understand? Putin has spelt out many times that he wants to rebuild the old Soviet Union. If he succeeds with the Ukraine he'll try to get back the Baltic States next.

If they invade Ukraine then they can kiss that project goodbye. I did warn you many times what the possible outcome of Germany being so heavily dependent on Russia for gas supplies would be. Putin is reportedly suffering from both Parkinson's and cancer, it looks to me as if he's determined to be the great saviour of Mother Russia, before he snuffs it. He's already lined up his daughter as heir apparent so we are told.

I find myself wondering what a Thai breakfast looks like?

    Do these people eat breakfast?

    Maybe Prima can help.

    That would be nice.
