Because so many working class people are, largely due to their own inertness, so unsophisticated,
they don't realize that by turning to the "more down to earth" Republicans,
they're turning to policies that work DIRECTLY agains their own best economic interests.

Here we see the weakness of a bad democracy compared to an enlightened dictatorship.
An enlightened dictatorship could help the ignorant in spite of themselves.
A bad democracy cannot. The price for being a rube will be perpetual mediocrity in the world of rubes.

Some of our very dumbest people prefer to maintain their libertarian beliefs and resist being governed toward self-improvement.
They and theirs will remain dumbass plebians for as long as this republic endures in its present fucked up configuration.
Of this I am absolutely certain, and the proof continues to unfold daily.
There is no such thing as an educated or sophisticated democrat.

Althea: "Why is that, and how will making them 'legal' give you a job?"
Jack: Making 'Immigrants' legal will stop the exploitation by Capitalists. Removing the Threat of Deportation. On the Question of 'Jobs'. It's Math. Less Competition means Higher Wages.

Althea: "BTW...under Bush Jr, it was deemed 'ok' to let them get SSI numbers to withhold FICA that they will never see when they retire."
Jack: Color me shocked! Who could have thought exploitation of the Weak could happen in America.

Will you answer my Question about the number of people you want to see reside in America? Like, if you think Automation is replacing People in the Workforce, how many MORE people do we need?
There is nothing wrong with automation. I don't think fast food chains can fully automate as many would have us believe, but ordering at a machine has been going on since last century.

If you don't understand what a comprehensive immigration bill that Republicans won't allow to pass has to do with immigration, I'm not sure how to continue this discussion.

Immigrants aren't exploited because of the threat of deportation. They aren't exploited at all. They are willing to work for less because they live in what we consider squalor here, instead of in their home country.

It's common for 3 or 4 families to share one home...something we would never consider. They think it's luxury accommodations when compared to where they came from.

That's what Republicans say, and why they ram through 'right to work' states. Which further makes the premise of this thread nonsensical.

Only the republican represent the working class, we all had lots more disposable income under Trump than we do now, Althea is used to being bent over and fucked and has grown to like it

Althea. It sounds like you are OwlTwerking on this one.

--->Again: How many MORE people do we need?

Will MORE PEOPLE help the Environment?
Will MORE PEOPLE add Quality of Life?
Will MORE PEOPLE create Cities*like Calcutta?
    Will MORE PEOPLE increase Wages?
Will MORE PEOPLE just add to Social Services as we continue to Automate?

I don't think you live in the Southwest where they are running out of water to drink and irrigate the Food Basket of America, but do you think MORE PEOPLE will solve the Water Shortage?

Why wouldn't a political party facing a major election care what voters think or want?

Well, Legion. The Agents of the Donor Class (Congress), do what they are told to do, ... or they are no longer in Congress.

Henry Cuellar is learning that lesson, Jack, but that doesn't answer the question you were asked.

LOL. How many people do we need? We could kill about 500 people in Washington if you think that will help.

I've tried to answer it as best i can.

--->Capitalist LOVE cheap labor. It means MORE money for Shareholders.
I got my Year End Statements, I'm sure you got yours. Isn't the Stock Market wonderful.
The Money continues to flow in whether we get out of bed or not.
Tragic about the 3 or 4 families staying in some hovel that Althea mentioned, but back to the Stock Market.

Oh, I'm sorry, you got me thinking about all that Money being made off the Drone Class, where was I?
Now I remember. Yes. Capitalists. Electing their Agents to look after their Interests.
I see this as an extension of our very creation. The first Global Corporation.
