Default Democratic party has turned its back on the working class

"Bernie Sanders says Democrats are failing: ‘The party has turned its back on the working class’ "
    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...lass-interview

"Senator Bernie Sanders has called on Democrats to make “a major course correction” that focuses on fighting for America’s working class and standing up to “powerful corporate interests” because the Democrats’ legislative agenda is stalled and their party faces tough prospects in this November’s elections."

“It is no great secret that the Republican party is winning more and more support from working people,” Sanders said."

Hmmmm ... American Working Class as a Voting Bloc? Republicans could be on to something.

It's not fair to blame Democrats as a whole when they have a Republican and a Pharma whore in their caucus.

Sanders is starting to lose his mind. He just keeps recycling his talking points in a loop.

The working class voted for trump the first time, because his lies were so vast, they had to be true.

Then his actions exposed him. Republicans have done nothing for the working class, unless you count being anti vax and anti mask?

For some reason, the American Working Class (once staunch Democrats), are Voting Republican.
If I was a Democrat Strategist, I would try to figure that out. You know, if I thought the American Working Class was an important Voting Bloc, and wanted to Win Elections.

That's a relief. I was worried there for awhile.

Where is this data coming from? Granted, the 'working class' is typically less educated. They are fully on the trump train. But if we're talking about results, what have Republicans/Manchin done for the working class?

Of course, how people vote rarely has any foundation in reason.

When Sanders says "working class" he is talking about the white working class. Listening to him drone on you would never know there are any working class POC in this country. This is why Sanders can't win a Democratic primary.

I personally feel that you can figure out why whites have turned to the GOP, by listening to Trump talk. I know that's a lot to ask, and I understand if a person would rather have one of annata's famous urine concoctions, but it's all there. Start with him coming down the escalator, holding on for dear life, while ranting about Mexicans being rapists.

    It's race.

I think they have figured that out. They keep getting in their own way when it comes to execution. Build back better was written with that group in mind. But they are letting the perfect get in the way of the good . The message with BBB and Voting rights should be ‘Nit one single Republican supporters voting rights, paid leave, affordable child care, affordable health insurance, public wi-fi and put the whole list down. Hammer away at that and get what you can. But instead the focus is on two Democrats and an arcane and useless senate rule. It’s classic Democrats. They don’t get what they’re up against and they are lousy marketers because they think that shouldn’t be important. But it is.

trumps tariffs against china were actually enlivening the entire economy, until an elite cabal proudly saved democracy with under the radar rule changes.
    so proud.

    True.

Biden and the (D)s have been trying mightily to pass legislation that would help the working/middle class. Yet somehow they get blamed? Hmm.

Bernie is right, but what is he personally doing to sway the blockheaded Sinema and Manchin?

The problem is the left is like a teenage boy in his first sexual encounter. They shoot their wad and it runs down their leg. Every time they win they think they have a "mandate from the people" but they can't control themselves. They overplay their hand and leave everyone unsatisfied. The leftists in this country are idiots.
