REMEMBER ISRAELI OCCUPIED PALESTINE. ISRAEL IS A BARBARIC, RACIST STATE
Remembering Al-Hajj Suleiman Sheikh, elder of the Bedouin village of Umm Al Khair whose death was announced this morning.
Hajj Suleiman was run down last week by an Israeli truck at a non-violent demonstration against the removal of cars owned by Palestinians and dragged along the road. The Israeli police walked away from him as he lay bleeding on the ground beneath the axle of the lorry.
Umm Al Khair has lost its fearless elder who always led the defence of the village and traveled elsewhere to give solidarity to others facing the wrath of Israeli forces.
His martyrdom will not be in vain. Palestinians will win peace with justice.
Thinking now of Suleiman’s family and all in the village in these dark moments.
