The White House also bolstered the legal counsel's office with a longtime Democratic communications official to help with fallout from the chaotic U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan last year.

Instead, if the Republicans have half a brain, they'll simply start investigating the obvious corruption and criminal activity of the Democrats and Biden in particular. They have plenty of ammunition to use on that front. Instead of impeachment, they simply expose the graft, corruption, and general malfeasance of the Left (Democrats) to the light of day and let it run its course. The Democrats will be so busy trying to cover their tracks they won't have time to run for office effectively.
