Got a case of this in the mini-fridge for cooking and drinking.

Just loaded up the Instapot with a small portion of brisket, most a can of beer, beef stock, and buttery steak seasoning. Having tacos.

Not a connoisseur of beer, let along craft or IPA beer, although I do know most of those cost more and some carry a surprising kick, I just drink the Guinness, but thought I’d help you out and get your post back to the top in case a beer drinker arrives

I like a good craft dark beer with a good steak, but gout.

Isn’t there a prescription drug you can take to prevent gout?

I used to drink a lot of beer, and adored drinking a lot of beer during the 6 years I lived in Germany but now I rarely do. Part of the problem is the carbs, but I also grew out of love. I especially dont like how when I go to a place with say 20 taps and probably 15 of them can be counted on to be bitter or syrupy or sour....I am told that this is what people want, an assault on the taste buds.

    No.

    No.
One of the misconceptions with beer is the carbs, not the carbs, but excess consumption of the carbs, but if you enjoy it, you don’t have to pound it, just pick a good one you like and have one or two

My first beer ever was a bock style. I also had a German chocolate cake porter that was amazing. I got it in Washington back during our trip. It even had the coconut nuances just like the cake.

We diabetics can have whatever we want we are now taught, it is all about timing, portion control, and sometimes what we have with it. But I adore eating and I have been a heavy drinker since I was 19 so I love my alcohol..... beer over the last ten years has pretty much completely fallen off my list of what I want to consume next. And I am shocked that beer was not one of the things that lasted this life, because man I gotta say I really loved beer once. The German "Beer Man" who came around once a week with his truck stacked high with 10 litter cases of different beers (plus a few soda's and juices) was some of the best that civilization had to offer.

I have never understood the appeal of smoked beer.

Domestic for me and mine. Wish Michelob was still around.

Budweiser, Bud Light, Miller, PBR, Rolling Rock, Busch Light, Miller Lite.

Germans turned me onto Warsteiner Dunkel. That's pretty good. Heineken, Moosehead and LaBatt's are alright, too.

Hipsters here probably say frappin' Yuengling. I tried it, bleh!

If from NY there's always Genessee.

Interesting. A friend of mine just experienced brisket fail. He don't wanna listen to me. :X

I am foregoing eating before the meat is done with beer.

It's ribs of some sort, and anything but what I smell just is not gonna get it.

Yes, and then you take it for the rest of your life. Much better to just prevent it via lifestyle changes, if possible.

I dunno about those odd flavors but then I'm not a beer gourmet either. We have several microbreweries up here that make some great stuff, a lot of it sold in local restaurants. It's easier to find a good beer than to find a good steak!
