One side (the left) of the political continuum prides itself on being "honest" and being willing to find fault with their leaders...while the other (the right) prides itself on being able to totally disregard the faults of theirs. One side (the left) essentially aids their opponents...while the other side (the right) will shit on the agenda of the other (the left) even if it means giving up benefits for the people it represents.

Both sides, at the moment, are unified in creating an environment in which our Republic will be destroyed.

Okay. I'm 85...so fuck it. I'll be dead (relatively) soon. Let the future take care of itself.

But to the people of the left who insist on sharing why they oppose certain possible Democratic candidates no matter what...and who pride themselves for pointing our the faults and failures of today's Democratic leaders...you should all roast in Hell (if there is a Hell) for all eternity. You are as culpable in the disaster that will ensue if Trump or ANY REPUBLICAN candidate wins over whomever the Democrats choose.
At a high level think about what you're saying, that unless we all walk in lock step and don't criticize our leaders then our Republic will be destroyed. Rather frightening either way.

Here's one for you Frank. You may have heard in California that we're trying to pass single payer healthcare legislation again. When Newsom ran for Governor he said he supported single payer and called out others who say they support it but didn't once in office. As a result the powerful Nurse's union went all in behind Gavin and he resoundingly won.

Well low and behold look at what we have today. The headline in today's SF Chronicle:

Single-payer health care advocates rip Gavin Newsom for ‘flip-flop’

    https://www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/...n-16776781.php

It's much easier to support something as a candidate than support it while Governor and that's what is happening here. Should the California Nurses Association just shut up about it because Gavin's a Democrat and likely to run for President?

    Okay.

Then help the right fight the left on principle.

    What could go wrong?
ON HIS WORST DAY, JOE BIDEN IS A BETTER PRESIDENT THAN TRUMP WAS ON HIS BEST DAY!

I think this is the article frank is referring to. https://www.irishtimes.com/news/worl...back-1.4777833

It’s more about what how poorly Biden has been as a leader.
Not sure what frank is complaining about because it’s quite true. Basically if Biden doesn’t get his act together we could have Trump again.

Dowd is a conservative. I never understood why liberals respected her opinions.

Read the MSM and get the vibe...they plan on replacing Biden..the drums are beating for it softly at first..

It would be suicide to do it before midterms, IMO..

    But ya never know!

As far as his incompetence; Yes he is, but we carried Reagan through 3 years of being incompetent.

Thanks. Agreed, not quite sure what Frank is complaining about here. For those who don't have their head in the sand they can see Biden's poll numbers aren't exactly off the chart. That doesn't mean things can't change of course but if you're on the left and don't want to see Republicans (and especially Trump) back in power something needs to change. That's what Dowd is talking about here.
