    Proves nothing of the sort.

That is just an article about unseasonably warm weather.

1910 to 1940 was every bit as warm as the last few years. It's just inconvenient for warmists to be reminded of that fact.

That’s OK. I predicted that my Bengals would win a NFL playoff game this year and they did that today for the first time in 31 years. So it just goes to show you an old blind hog can find an acorn every now and then.

Yet when there was a warm day in Alaska a couple of weeks back the usual suspects were all going hysterical about it.

I only know about a half dozen, maybe a dozen, people in my life who are or were skiers.
Every one of them, without exception, has zippers on his/her body. Knee parts are often involved in addition to bone breakages.

I assume the thread is about climate change,
but it reminds me of skiing
    which reminds me of surgery.

Compared to skiing, even boxing was like being in my mother's arms.

Boxing is safer than skiing. Never seen a leg broken from boxing.

You claimed that the global warming "hysteria" has been going on since back when that NYT article was written.

But the article was not about global warming or climate change.

There was no such concept back then.

It was about a spell of unseasonably warm weather.

    Period.

What it proves is that natural variance is a huge factor in climate change. Climate models are very bad at modelling this as well as the behaviour of clouds, especially the role of cosmic rays in their formation.

As for your weak attempt at levity, it's back to the drawing board for you! You are living on your laurels, like a boxing champ that's had one fight too many.
