Default Odd. Me and my mom went shopping. No shortage.

That was around Christmas. No shortage at Kroger's and Walmart. Long lines to be sure, but plenty of supply.

At Kroger's supermarket, this is what it looked like at that time.

The thing is everyone gets to evaluate the situation for themselves, we all have a front row seat to watch what is happening in our stores.
This illegal illegitimate regime that runs America is at fault...not me.... they do not represent me and I have long objected to their crimes against humanity.

The only item at my store that seems to have selection that is somewhat limited is cat food.

LOL. You should see it now. Quite a few empty shelves. Somebody did a good job shoring that up so that Christmas didn't suck for everybody who doesn't shop in October, but right now they aren't doing so well. It seems that folks that live by the ports have full shelves, folks that live in "flyover" country, not so much. This seems to be most likely due to the shortage of truck drivers.

Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

In Soviet Russia, the cat food is limited for the fishes.

You and your mom don't visit each other from time to time?

And if she visits you, doesn't she blast you for how dirty your place is?

I should tell an anecdotal story and find an image of empty shelves. You'd all believe me, right? Then Cypress could chime in and tell you how he personally has had no problem so nobody could have.

While my story is true, you proved the point.

New Years was horrible here for both bread and produce...many stores were almost out of both for several days....we were told because of labor problems.....large numbers of people refusing to turn up to work around the Holidays.

I took my mother grocery shopping all the time when she got older so I help carry and unload her bags.

I went to Walmart yesterday. Plenty of food and supplies, but selections were skewed. No red bell peppers, just yellow and some softening orange ones. No wheat crackers, but plenty of whole grain and regular. There were gaps of empty shelves in almost every section.
