Are you s4b's going to post pictures of them on vacation and have a hissy fit over them too?

This is what Cortes said about her. So much seething, menacing republican lust!! He made a political statement...and her response was pitiful and juvenile. She's a founding member of the "squad" for Pete's sake! Everything she says and does is supposed to be pure socialist gold! But here's a fact for you: Some of us ARE fascinated with her. It's kind of the same way we're fascinated with trainwrecks.

Both sides employ the same tactics in this arena. We wait like spiders for ANYONE, male OR female, to say or do something we consider stupid and then we pounce. But only AOC seems to think that the male conservative's only response to her unassailable logic and rhetoric is to want to rape her. Didn't she (or ANY of you lefties for that matter) learn about prejudice and stereotyping in junior high social studies? They're precursors for all the "-isms" you claim to hate, yet you paint republicans with that broad brush and think it shuts down the argument in your favor. To me, it simply signifies that you are out of ammunition.

AOC Caught In Miami Beach As New York City Hits Record Coronavirus Cases

    by Jeff Miller
    December 31, 2021

    TelegramTwitterLinkedInFacebookEmail
On Thursday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the face of progressives in Congress, had a maskless meal in Miami Beach, Florida, even though she supports mask and vaccine mandates that Florida does not require.

The ‘Squad’ member shared a drink and a laugh with a diner who wasn’t identified in photos posted by the National Review.

Conservatives mocked Ocasio-Cortez over her strict stance on COVID protocols on Twitter, including an account devoted to and endorsed by Republican Governor Ron DeSantis, who invited her to ‘enjoy a taste of freedom’ in the Sunshine State.

‘Welcome to Florida, AOC! We hope you’re enjoying a taste of freedom here in the Sunshine State thanks to @RonDeSantisFL’s leadership,’ the Team DeSantis Twitter account posted.

‘P.S. We recommend the Rock Shrimp Roll and the Aoki Tai the next time you decide to dine in Miami. Cheers!,’ was posted in a follow-up tweet.

    Cheers!

Others criticized her for flouting COVID rules. ‘You’re being played by @AOC dummies,’ Kyle Becker, who owns the conservative news site Becker News, posted.

‘Hey @AOC tell me you endorse @RonDeSantisFL without telling me you endorse @RonDeSantisFL,’ Shawn Farash wrote. Farash runs the conservative group Long Island Loud Majority.

Aww @AOC this is so cute 🥰

Did your martini taste a bit hypocritical?

Don’t you just love the freedom Republicans give you in Florida?

    No masks or vaccine mandates.

No stifling communist policies you constantly legislate & vote for.

Ocasio-Cortez flew to Florida amid a spike in COVID cases causing a record number of New York City first responders to call in sick. Fox News reported that more than 20% of the city’s police officers and 30% of its paramedics were out sick on Thursday.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who will be sworn in at the end of the month, said he intends to keep many of outgoing Mayor Bill de Blasio’s restrictions in place, including a requirement that individuals be vaccinated before entering local businesses.

COVID records have also been smashed in New York, with more than 74,000 new cases reported Thursday, according to WNBC-TV of New York City.

The number of hospitalizations continued to rise in New York, reaching over 7,300, the report noted. The number of ICU patients in New York surpassed 1,000 for the first time since March, according to the station.

DeSantis wants President Joe Biden to drop his ‘useless’ vaccine mandates after the president told the heads of 25 states that ‘no federal solution’ to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to DeSantis’ office.

The Republican governors of Florida, South Dakota, Arizona and Texas, along with a host of other GOP figures have called on Biden to drop his sweeping vaccine order affecting a third of the American workforce, as well as other nationwide COVID regulations, following his remarks.

DeSantis’ spokesperson told the Daily Mail that the president is ‘abdicating responsibility and shifting blame’ to the states.

‘More Americans have died of COVID-19 under Biden than under Trump. Now that Biden has admitted to the nation that he has no plan to “shut down the virus,” and that there is “no federal solution,” we expect him to withdraw the unconstitutional and useless federal vaccine mandates,’ DeSantis’ office said.

While running for president in 2020, Biden pledged to ‘shut down the virus’. Over a year later, Omicron variants are spreading again, Biden’s vaccine order has been blocked by the courts, and his administration is under fire for its delayed response to COVID-19 testing.

DeSantis’ office also brought to mind Biden’s message to Republican governors in August who were blocking vaccine and mask mandates: ‘Please help. But if you aren’t going to help, at least get out of the way.’

‘Governor DeSantis defied this petty tyranny and continued to “stand in the way” of unconstitutional federal overreach. The governor stands for parental rights, individual liberties, and medical freedom, including the freedom to access treatments for COVID-19 that are proven effective,’ the governor’s spokesperson told The Mail.

According to the governor, the Biden administration restricted Florida’s availability of monoclonal antibodies as a form of COVID-19 treatment, claiming it ‘had months to prepare for the predictable winter surge and neglected to do so.’

‘Now, Biden admits “there’s no federal solution” because he is abdicating responsibility and shifting blame — politics as usual,’ DeSantis’ office continued.

On Tuesday morning, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem joined DeSantis in asking Biden to roll back his vaccine mandates.

‘After a year, we finally agree [Biden]. The federal government isn’t the solution,’ Noem posted on Twitter.

‘That’s why from the start, SD took a different approach by trusting our citizens to be responsible and make the right decisions for themselves & their families. Now rescind all the federal mandates.’

Ducey claimed that the president wanted it ‘both ways.’

‘President Biden said today “there is no federal solution” to resolve the pandemic. So why is he trying to force vaccine mandates in all 50 states?’ Ducey wrote on Twitter.

‘The president wants it both ways. He’s demanding governors resolve the pandemic because his administration can’t, yet he continues to push vaccine mandates on businesses with no thought to the consequences.’

On Monday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott called for Biden to ‘immediately end’ his vaccine rules.

‘Biden says there’s no federal solution to COVID and that this gets solved at a state level. He should immediately end his unconstitutional federal mandates,’ Abbott proclaimed. ‘The Texas solution is no mandates and personal responsibility.’
