    Default Day Of Infamy

Thanks to all who serve and served defending our nation.

    Much appreciation.

The freedom is wonderful. I still love America.

But I don't love what has been happening in America.

    It is a shame.

We have had another day of infamy this year.

    Stark difference.

December 7th 1941 united Americans behind a cause.

January 6th 2021 drove us further apart.

    Indeed.

The murder of an UNARMED female AF veteran by a Capitol coward is the dishonor to America.

I don't generally thank PollyAnna for much, but I must thank him now.
Today is my elementary school girlfriend's 75th birthday and he's just reminded me.
She lives hundreds of miles away but I've got her email address and will send her birthday greetings now.

Her mom and mine used to walk us in carriages together when we were infants in the 1940s.
I last saw her at her dad's funeral several years ago. She was aging a bit better than I was.

My wife (the Gestapo) did everything in her power to give me back to her that day, but no deal could be struck.

    Hi Politalker,

I wonder if you started this thread to honor those who died during the Pearl Harbor bombing, or if Remembrance day was just a convenient vehicle to rip Trump supporters. I would have thought you were above that type of thing.

Why we're still celebrating this day only God knows.....this country with all its rich history is nothing but a shit ho with racist conservative rednecks whining and fucking over minorities. A disgrace to those who truly served this nation.

I meant what I said. I am very thankful to all who serve or have served.

But I can't help it that we now have two days of infamy in this nation.

The first one was an external enemy.

The most recent one is internal.

How can we honor the first day of infamy without recognizing that there are now two?

What happened on January 6th cannot be erased.

I know the Trump Party wants to do that, but that is wrong.

Shame on them for trying to bury it, downplay it, pretend it never happened.

    It did.

When is the coward who murdered an UNARMED female AF veteran going to be charged with murder?

You do not give a royal damn about those who served.

As Sirthinksalot posted...” Remembrance day was just a convenient vehicle to rip Trump supporters. I would have thought you were above that type of thing..”

Accurate post and I know that’s you are not above that type of thing.

Your dishonest attempt at moral equivalency is horse mierda.

The domestic enemy is more difficult to deal with.

I'd like to clarify my position.

I don't see the Trump Party as an enemy.

    The enemy is hatred.

A house divided will surely fall.

    We have fallen.

We are still in free fall.

How far we will fall depends on us.

We have to patch up this nation. We have to eradicate hatred. We have to properly educate people so they do not fall prey to emotional triggers. We have to root out corruption. The rich and powerful have become too powerful. They play the two parties off one another and laugh all the way to the bank.

All of this hatred is really generated by greedy people who use the emotions of the masses as their tools to divide and conquer in the class war.

I am so glad they are coming down on Alex Jones.

Same thing needs to happen to Tucker Carlson.
