Things died down and my NRA membership lapsed until Obama wanted to ban more guns. I joined again, but this time a long-term membership which I still have for two-more years.

Democrats focus on banning guns instead of helping the mentally ill. They are autocratic authoritarian assholes which is why 70% of American voters refuse to be Democrats.
