They weren't even that good for being Catholics who didn't practice at it.

First, why do you presume he's even talking about America and by extension, Trump? Both russia and china pose a MUCH bigger threat to "democracy" than America ever did, and then you can add the muslim world to the mix. Second, the 2020 election was the closest to pure democracy this country has ever seen. So how's that working out for you? He needs to keep his nose out of politics anyway, and you jackasses should keep your noses out of religion.

Most practicing Catholics are Right wing.

Trump got near 60% of the White Catholic vote in 2016 & about 55% in 2020.

Latino Catholics less so, but that's because of Trumps anti Mexican comments.
