Yes, parents buy their children guns. Every son who hunts with his father past 12 years old usually will get a gun from Santa along the way.
And normally the responsible parents keep them locked up in their safes that only they have the key to.
BUT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT SHOTGUNS AND DEER RIFLES- normally .22 target rifles and/or pistols, 20 gauge shotguns, and 30/30 saddle guns as deer rifles for adolescents.
I have never heard of any idiot buying their teenager a semi-auto pistol!
