Omicron variant confirmed for first time in Minnesota

Person was fully vaccinated with a booster and had mild symptoms

A Minnesotan who recently travelled to New York City is the first case of the omicron coronavirus variant detected in the state.

The person who tested positive for the new variant is an adult man from Hennepin County. The man was fully vaccinated, receiving two doses of coronavirus vaccine more than six months ago, and a booster in early November.

“This news is concerning, but it is not a surprise,” Gov. Tim Walz said in a statement. “We know that this virus is highly infectious and moves quickly throughout the world. Minnesotans know what to do to keep each other safe now — get the vaccine, get tested, wear a mask indoors, and get a booster.”

Jan Malcolm, state health commissioner, said the presence of the variant was quickly identified by the state’s nation-leading variant surveillance program. On Wednesday, Malcolm said the arrival of the new strain in Minnesota was inevitable and quick detection was important.

The person tested positive Nov. 24 after experiencing mild symptoms two days before. That means the man was infected with omicron prior to health officials in South Africa announced the new variant of concern was found there.

But, but, but, the Fauci plague must go on! It can't end! If it does, those in power will lose much of their ability to dictate and control The-Rest-of-Us.

History has shown that despotic regimes find it far easier to force citizens into submission when they are unarmed. But that aside, we also have guns for our protection from criminal elements Democrats seem to love and defend and set upon our communities to burn and loot. If they don't do their jobs, it is up to us. Dishonest Dunce.

Your argument is a fallacy and painfully stupid. So tell me dumb fuck, will it be more painful to force armed citizens into submission, or unarmed leftist cunts who are scared of guns? Dumbass.

Still, whom does the 2nd Amendment exclude from the right to bear arms?

There are no gun laws. If parents went to prison when their kids murder people with the family gun, that would be a good start.

Putting a tax of several hundred percent on ammunition and the material required to make it, or just outlawing the sale and possession of it while making possession/sale/manufacture a felony punishable with mandatory prison time would also be pretty effective.
That's the key. Guns might be a constitutional right, but ammo isn't.

It doesn't. But no constitutional right is unlimited. Take a look at Heller. It's interesting.
