    Default School shooting in Phoenix

You probably didn't hear about this one because it doesn't fit the MSM narrative for these things. A student at Ceasar Chavez high school in Phoenix was shot yesterday by another student.

Why didn't you hear about this? Well, because the 16 year-old student who got shot had made a "ghost gun" using a 3D printer and was selling it to a 15 year-old student at the high school. The 15 year-old paid the 16 year-old with phony movie prop money and when the 16 year-old figured that out he confronted the 15 year-old who shot him--presumably with the gun he was just sold...
(Arizona law prohibits release of the names and details of the students involved by the way)
I won't speculate on the ethnicity of the students involved, but I can certainly say they aren't the sharpest tools in the shed...

Maybe Arizona should ban Ghost guns, oh, I forgot, it’s “unconstitutional” to some, but then again, they were “good guys with guns” one second prior to one of them shooting the other

Good luck banning them. They can be assembled from legal parts and even 3D printed. That a 16-year-old made one is illegal to begin with. Selling it to anyone as a 16-year-old is illegal too. A 15-year-old cannot legally purchase it. Bringing it onto a public-school campus is a felony as well. So, these two teenagers were already breaking a whole raft of existing laws, state and federal. What would one more law do?

Ban the selling of unserialized receivers, several States do it now, doubtful that a think a 15 year old assembled a ghost gun strictly off the internet, first off he'd have to have the necessary equipment and secondly the actual technological knowledge to do it, not as easy as many interpret the term 3D Ghost Gun implies

Then you just 3D print one instead... Are you going to regulate 3D printers next?

Depending on how shop and computer savvy someone is, they can buy a CNC router that will make a receiver for as little as $400.

Also, as far as "not hearing" about the event, there was an actual school shooting in Michighan yesterday resulting in three dead and today it is nearly forgotten, point being school shootings are as American as apple pie, occurs so often Americans have grown desensitized to them, sad, but that's what happens when you have too easy access to too many guns

And truthfully, how "computer savvy" do you think a 15 year old is and can even understand the process?

True, probably true, but I have no need to make a gun, own a gun, or even want a gun, and you still didn't answer the question

The process isn't difficult to grasp.

Kids in grade school are getting exposure to 3D printing processes. The programs to make an incredible variety of stuff are already online and downloadable. How hard is that for some kid that has never lived without a smart phone?

In fact, the software has advanced to the point where if you have a 3D drawing of the piece, the software will automatically generate the program.

Kids are exposed to all kinds of things, always have been, but being exposed doesn't mean they can apply that knowledge

My point being unless this dimwit is some kind of big time nerd, and I don't the Sheldon Coopers of the world are into making guns to sell to classmates, it is doubtful a 15 year old could construct a Ghost gun without an unserialized receiver
