“House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy tried — without success — Tuesday night to end an ugly battle between two of his GOP freshmen,” Politico reports.
“The California Republican implored Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Nancy Mace (R-SC), in separate private meetings, to stop attacking one another after their back-and-forth online spat dragged on for hours earlier Tuesday.”
....CNN: “Emerging from her meeting, Greene told CNN that both she and former President Donald Trump would back a primary challenge to Mace in 2022.”

I find the narrative of an easy GOP house victory laughable. By the time the election heats up:
* the impact of the human infrastructure bill will be felt by Americans
* the complicity of house GOP members and the Orange God in the insurrection will be fully known
* the Voting Rights Act will have invalidated many of the new state laws designed to make it easier for the GOP to simply declare themselves winners by fiat
* the Pandemic will be in the rear view mirror
* Inflation will be down and the supply chain will be fixed.
And YOU think that people like Herschel Walker are going to win elections?
ROTFLFMAO!!!

Mccarthy just tries to keep the crazy out of the press. Boebert, and Greene cannot be silenced. They have no values and no self control. Their bigotry just pops out.
There is no option. Manchin has the cover he needs now, since his 'compromise' voting bill got exactly zero GOP votes. Either the filibuster rules will be changed to the old talking filibuster, or an exception will be carved out for voting rights. Every democrat knows they have to pass something, otherwise, GOP controlled states will remove voting from their citizens and pick the winners themselves.

GOP rep Mace used the nucular option on MTG:
(The Hill) — Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., shot back at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., on Tuesday after Greene called her “trash,” responding by using emojis to call her fellow first-term Republican congresswoman “batshit crazy.”
oh this is fun
