gone are the days of freedom, free thought, freedom of opinions, freedom of anything personal. If you don't follow the new ideals of the revolution, they will blacklist you from society. and democrats claim to be the party of the people

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAA
A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

I'd say that's true only for the liberal arts and fine arts. Business, engineering, science, and related degrees that result in a BS, not a BA, still have much merit. But a degree in say, sociology, or one in gender studies is as worthless as tits on a pump handle.

The reason that degrees in business, engineering, science and related degrees are valued is because of the blood, sweat and tears involved in getting those degrees. I know.

It's also because they give the person obtaining them education in things that are highly useful to employers and society after graduation.

So you see college as an apprenticeship for a future job. The fact is it is an opportunity to learn many things including history and Poli Sci. Being more worldly and knowledgeable is a merit.

But not as merited as degrees in science snd engineering...in terms of being employable and not a burden on society.

Anecdotal, but I know two women who have degrees in Psychology. One works as a teller in a bank, the other as a secretary in an investment firm.

Society has determined what disciplines are merited.

In terms of knowing about the world, history, politics and writing. it is very valuable. Engineers are terrible writers. They are conservative, even right wing. That shows such a lack of knowledge.

Cite the evidence that engineers are terrible writers.

There are several engineers on this forum and I note no lack of creative writing ability. I had several professors who were published authors.

Being conservative or progressive has nothing to do with knowledge...it has to do with preconceived biases...not all but for the most part.

That's why they hire a liberal arts major at a fraction of the cost to clean up their writing. The engineers are too busy doing stuff that's important to waste their time making sure what they write is grammatically correct. Maybe that's why engineers invented spelling and grammar checking computer programs, so they don't have to waste money on a liberal arts major...

https://www.designnews.com/when-good...re-bad-writers Your logic is weak. You go anecdotal instead of dealing with the theme.
