I'm very big picture. What I've often asked, and not a single RW has replied about, is do they really think Trump would last more than few minutes as President-for-Life before someone, probably in the militia, capped him? Then what?

It's the Midterms. Americans know it's a common occurrence that the power in charge takes a hit if not loses control of a branch during the midterms.

as they chose NOT to have the federal govt determine districting, it would seem that way.

but lets not confuse gerrymandering with ballot box stuffing.

Republicans shouldn't have any trouble winning back the House. They only need 5 seats and the average number of seats lost by the president's party in mid-terms is 27. They will get 2 of those in Texas.

The seats lost in mid-terms are usually just the ones won by the president's party in the presidential election; but, since the Democrats actually lost seats in 2020 they don't have as many to lose in 2022.

Well... I heard this comment many, many times prior to the 2020 election. The right couldn't conceive that trump might lose. Also, cons predicted a red wave in 2018 and you know how that turned out.

Anyway, I'm not predicting. The last prediction I made was in 2015 when I said trump wouldn't even make it to the primaries.
