Any attorney appearing in court is an officer of the court, especially prosecutors. For an officer of the court to commit a fraud on the court is a big deal. For instance, they cannot say something they know to be untrue.

If you tell your defense attorney you are guilty, he is not allowed to say you are innocent in court. His obligation not to commit a fraud on the court supersedes his obligation to give you the best defense possible.

The mcmichaels would have been found not guilty if the corrupt judge had allowed the defense to tell the jurors about arbery's criminal past. The judge belongs in prison.

No, they are not. They are just attorneys. Putting the word 'seriously' in front of your statement does not make it True.
