Donald Trump did not first tell us about the Stolen Election after it happened.
He told us before it happened, months before. As early as June he was sounding the alarm
that Democrats were fixing the election against him. As election day approached he went further,
arguing that his own popularity had become so great that it was not possible for Biden to win
except by fraud, a startling statement given that Biden was leading in the polls, all the polls,
leads outside their margins of error. Even Rasmussen, the most Republican friendly national
poll, predicted Trump would lose. In what must have seemed a blow, company president
Scott Rasmussen wrote a column a few days before the election warning there
was little chance Trump could close the gap.
Rasmussen and all the other pollsters might have been mistaken, of course. Trump might
have won after all. Biden’s official electoral vote victory by the same margin that Trump
defeated Hillary Clinton, which he had called a “blowout”, might not have happened in what
we think of as the visible world; that it was mere coincidence the size of Biden’s electoral vote
was about what the polls predicted and from the states the polls predicted. But how could
Trump have KNOWN the polls were wrong, known that Biden despite his apparent insurmountable
lead not only might still lose but could only lose. Incredibly, breathtakingly when you think
about it, HE DID KNOW. “I alone knew,” he might have said, in that way he has of occasionally
reminding us of his special standing in the universe.
There is but one possible answer to this question of How Trump Knew when no one else did
or could. Donald Trump walks with God.
I know it and so do you.
Well, come to think of it, there is another answer to consider: that Trump’s pre-election certainty
of Biden’s only (dishonest) chance of beating him was a product of his imagination and fear of
losing, that he obviously made the whole thing up back in June, 2020 and all the other days leading
to the election when over and over he sang the same tale of predicted, not his fault, election night woe
maybe for himself but definitely for his voters for whom he could not bear the thought of being
perceived “a loser”.
If so, a simple lesson and choice lie herein: it has been from its pre-election beginning, The Big Lie. Or, Donald
Trump walks with God. Take your pick.
