    Default HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE!

Each of us still alive has at least that fact to be very thankful for...and most of us have lots of other reasons for being thankful.

To everyone here...especially including the people with whom I have frequent quarrels and disagreements...

...I hope you and yours have a truly wonderful Thanksgiving.

It happens to be my favorite holiday...mostly because the Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings is my very favorite meal of the year.

    Stay safe, everyone.

Glad we agree that it is our favorite, Zymurgy. I also agree with the first three F's...but the last one...not so much.

This year, for me, it will be mostly food and football. Nancy and I will be joined by one of her sisters, but the other sister and the brother-in-law will not be able to make it. The rest of my family live all the way across the country...in California.

Anyway, I do the cooking. Cannot wait for tomorrow. My favorite meal. (Well, corned beef, with cabbage and boiled potatoes on St. Patrick's Day is in the running...and a very close second.

Ironically, the first ever turkey day was not some friendly exchange with Native Americans.

We were celebrating a peace agreement and shooting guns into the air - and those we just agreed to a peace with thought we were being hostile and came to check us out. Eventually they agreed we were not violating the peace and stuck around and ate, but we had no bounty - we were barely surviving. Also, the religious nature of this had more to do with fasting then gorging ourselves.

    Easily agreed and happily so.

    I wish everyone well.

    Enjoy the day!

And every day. The secret of life is enjoying the passage of time. There is no justifiable reason for hatred. Hatred is always irrational. Live and let live. Coexist. Be thankful for what we have. We Americans have it made. It is absurd that some of us hate fellow Americans and consider them to be enemies. Better to keep the spirit of Thanksgiving day in your heart every day of the year. That would make America greater.

    It's mine, too, after Samhain/Halloween.

Happiest of holidays to you and yours, Frank.

Winter Solstice ... and Praise to the Sun God. Life Begins Anew. Thanksgiving ... do Native Americans celebrate Thanksgiving?
I'll have to check with the Wokesters on this one, Frank.

My family did. My grandmother’s favorite and my mom’s second favorite holiday…Halloween being her first.

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

Here is a video of my chief and assistant chief with their Thanksgiving message. The ones from last year and this year are on Facebook and harder to link. I’ll try. But yes, most of us of Native heritage celebrate Thanksgiving.

    Our favorite holiday

May your Thanksgiving be full of peace, love and joy.

Th engine is running hot. The heat is on in the galley. Let the saltwater wash down run
over the deck. Everything is good. Turn the heat off. Close the doors. Oh man I farted.
