    Default Testing Zorin OS

Holy fuck. It's running off of an USB drive on my laptop with no hard drive. Been running perfectly.

What's it based on? What desktop does it use? Oh! That looks really good. Kinda of like Lubuntu.

    I'm a bit of a computer nerd.

Do you need tarballs for programs or no?

That'll be all well and good until you want to download something. Then you'll see the speed difference.

Just flash it to a flash drive and off you go. No hard drive necessary. Want me to take a video to demonstrate it running?

No. Well you can if you want.

That's not necessary. Try and download a video or something and tell me the transfer speeds.

How does streaming video work with it?

What do you "flash it to a flash drive" with?

    I found it..

"With an Ubuntu and Linux foundation, "

It's like a really good optimized Lubuntu.

It's probably better than and what Lubuntu morphed into.

And yes, you will need tarballs for programs.

    What desktop do you use?

I'm good. I have my own way of doing things.

I've put a fully functional OS on a MicroSD just to see if it would work. It did.

I think this OS only uses one core of my CPU.
Been rolling this one for a while now.

    I'm due for a new OS..on a clean drive.

I do not know much about the new OS but I have been impressed with it so far. The fact that it runs off of a usb drive while a hard drive is not necessary is what impresses me the most.

I've worked with UNIX systems. I am an oldfart.
