I'm not sure where the disconnect is.

Not a single person said the vaccination is 100% effective. It is not.

But, it does lower the chance you can get COVID. And if you do get COVID even when vaxxed, there is MUCH less of a chance you will get any kind of serious symptoms or need to be hospitalized.

The vaccine is doing what it's supposed to do. Why are people anti-vaccine? It seems odd.

In MN, the high rates of infection and hospitalization are occurring in the rural parts of the state where the vaccination rates aren't that high.

It's interesting how the current hot spots are in counties where the vaccination rate is lower and the county overwhelming voted for Trump.

Infection rate over 50/10,000 for the last 4 weeks.

Hennepin County
Trump - 27%
Vaccination rate - 73%
Infection rate less than 15/10,000 for the last 4 weeks.

Trump - 60%
Vaccination rate - 51%
Infection rate over 25/10,000 for the last 4 weeks.
