The fact that different vaccines have different rates of effectiveness would imply many of them are better than natural immunity. It is obvious that it is safer to get immunity from a vaccine.

Out of 7,000 people hospitalized with Covid, those who were unvaccinated but had a previous case of the illness were five times more likely to have a confirmed case of Covid than people who were fully vaccinated and had not had Covid before.

There is no question that in the "real world" you are safer from covid if vaccinated than if you had the virus previously.
