I got a feeling MSNBC would like us to do away with Thanksgiving as a holiday…an “traditional” practice of it. But that’s just an opinion.

That is a good feeling to ignore. I don't listen to MSNBC anyway. Too slanted and I strongly dislike commercials. I don't want my time wasted by somebody trying to sell me something I don't want to buy. If I want to buy something I do the research on my own, make a decision and execute the purchase at the best value I can find given the situation.

Commercial news and TV is too loaded with unwanted hard-sell.

PBS NPR BBC is the way to go.

    And internet searching.

Wrong. Avoiding the vaccine is costly.

Tragic would be an apt description.

*YAWN*. A healthy economy has about 2% inflation, so every year would have the "most expensive meal in the history of the holiday", as the price increased at 2%. As long as inflation adjusted growth is above 0%, it is getting cheaper for people to actually buy the food. So if you make $50k one year, and $55k the next, you really do not care if the cost of a Thanksgiving dinner goes from $50 to $51.
