I've never seen any news network promote cancel culture as a positive.

Why should they provide a platform for idiots who want to advocate illegal actions? Damo's JPP doesn't allow users to accuse each other of child molestation, which is illegal -- and the act of accusing someone of it can be considered defamatory. Why should Damo allow that since it's HIS site and he could be held liable for allowing it?

You have free speech. The government cannot curtail it. However, private businesses can and should, or they could be held liable for their users' crimes.
Have you noticed that the same people who supported the Christian baker's right to refuse business now demand all the social medial companies serve them for free?

THIS is what needs to be CANCELLED!

I suspect most of those people are mentally ill as most chronically homeless people are.

Dude, you sound like a wackadoodle when you write like that.

First, no one is cancelling history. They're destroying historical landmarks, public property and create a giant safe space where they don't have to be reminded of the horrors of the past.

This is good thing for the Republicans. When the Left brings up "slavery", there will no longer be any reminders around so the Right can say "It never happened".

    Awesome.

In Kensington, the average income per
capita was $12,669 per year in 2012-2016,
which is about half of the average income in
Philadelphia....Philadelphia is the poorest of America’s large
cities, which means Kensington is one of the
poorest areas in one of the poorest cities. ....

...In Kensington, the violent crime rate is roughly
    30% higher (328 violent crimes per 10,000
residents) than in Philadelphia overall (242
    violent crimes per 10,000 people)....

God bless America and those who defend our Constitution.

Jefferson statue is "horrors of the past"?
Do you understand slavery was a contemporary practice, the USA fought a civil war to end it?

as to a safe space -

Ask yourself why that is. The answer is super obvious to most of us. Hint: It's not a mass media global conspiracy against conservatism.

"illegal actions" can be reported to the cops.
Canceling and de-platforming happens because of a differing opinion.

Thee were many doctors that advocated hydroxychlorquine in combo w/Zpak /D3 / and zinc
All of these substances are benign. HCQ is not a cardiac threat -patients are even monitored for cardiac

So what happened? Because Trump was for it -the left went crazy, the medical establishmnet threatened the doctors and pharmacists would not fulfill Rx

People on social media were de-platformed for advocating it, despite good front line clinical results

Violent actions/advocating or partaking in crimes of course need to be censored and reported to cops.
But we are WAY PAST that line

it's a loophole for private platforms to engage in editorial actions yet be treated with a Section 230 carve out
