Lev Parnas, a former associate of Rudy Giuliani, was found guilty Friday of federal campaign finance criminal charges.
Parnas previously played a role in the first impeachment of then-President Donald Trump, having helped Giuliani in an effort to dig up dirt on President Joe Biden in Ukraine.

Lev Parnas, a former associate of Rudy Giuliani, was found guilty Friday of multiple federal campaign finance criminal charges that included funneling illegal donations to a political action committee supporting then-President Donald Trump.

Another man, Andrey Kukushin, also was convicted by the same jury in U.S. District Court in Manhattan, a day after prosecutors and defense lawyers rested their cases following a two-week trial.

Both men were accused and convicted of using money from a Russian man named Andrey Muraviev for donations to U.S. political candidates in a purported effort to start a recreational marijuana business. Foreigners are barred from making political donations in the United States.

Probably not before he passes, and I am not wishing ill fortune upon him, but the reality is that these people, especially Trump people, have mastered the technique of delaying, postponing, appealing any litigation for years, and when they are opposing a government entity, they know that politics will eventually change, and what was a crusade at one time will be moot down the road

Unfortunate but true, we've been watching it for over a decade now

There should be no doubt that all the court convictions of Trump people, including the Insurrectionists, over the next few years will lead directly to the White House.
