That he accepted that without question is bad. That an assistant director, rather than the armorer or prop master did it raises a big red flag on the issue of safety and procedure too.

I suspect it's because the union / pro crew walked off the set over safety, pay, and other issues the day before and the people still there were being pressed to get the movie done on the cheap.

I don't care what Baldwin's politics are in this case. I have stuck to just firearms safety issues here. I'd be saying the exact same thing if it were a conservative actor that did it.
