At the time of this writing, the #1 song on the iTunes hip-hop chart is, at its heart, an anti-President Joe Biden chant.
"Let's Go, Brandon" by rapper Loza Alexander sits atop the chart, obviously inspired by the recently popular meme making waves through social media.
Loza Alexander has gained recent fame from his viral TikTok video featuring the "Let's Go Brandon" song.
So why "Let's Go, Brandon"? What does that even mean? To explain what it means takes a bit of a journey, so stick with us for this one.
NASCAR driver Brandon Brown achieved victory at Alabama’s Talladega Superspeedway early in October. After his victory, he was interviewed by NBC Reporter Kelli Stavast.
During that interview, the crowd could be heard chanting. NBC's reporter, Stavast, thought that (or at least acted like) they were chanting "Let's Go, Brandon!" in reference to the driver's win, but that was very much not the case.
The crowd was instead chanting "F**k Joe Biden".
You may be able to see where this is going.
Now, it is a meme that is appearing on everything from social media comment threads to billboards and beyond.
"Let's Go, Brandon" is appearing in a lot of places, and the top of iTunes charts is probably not the last place you'll see it.
