Default Bannon refusal to cooperate suggests Trump was 'personally involved' in planning riot

Republican Rep. Liz Cheney blasted former President Donald Trump's ally Steve Bannon for refusing to cooperate with the House committee investigating the January 6 riot, saying that his claim of executive privilege is not only invalid, but suggests Trump was "personally involved" in the planning and execution of the riot.

"Mr. Bannon's and Mr. Trump's privilege arguments do appear to reveal one thing, however: they suggest that President Trump was personally involved in the planning and execution of January 6th," Cheney said.

"And we will get to the bottom of that," Cheney added.

We knew that long ago. Trump cannot win a court case on his criminal insurrection. He organized the rally on 1-6, down the street from the Capitol at the exact time the Electoral College votes were being certified. That was no coincidence. Then he booked speakers to rile up folks with lies. He closed by telling them to go down to the capitol immediately and he would go with them. Trump has no defense. He did it. The internet tracks are there.

And Trump is acting like a guilty defendant the way he's telling all his goons to not abide by the subpoenas. If he had nothing to hide, if he is innocent, he'd be fine with releasing all the documentation. He's guilty as shit. He knows he's fucked.

Nah, more like Trump and/or Bannon just giving the house the finger. They should be careful about Bannon, he’s the kind of guy that just might plead guilty to contempt of congress and be proud of it. I would.
