No, I had it once when I was 15...and then when I was like..27 my mom got it so I took care of her for 2 days..and that got tedious.. so on day 3 I decided to drink some beer and started feeling flu-ish, but overcame that within 1 day.

Measles and mumps “all the time”? Unless, you’re in your in your 60s or so, that’s either bullshit or they were unvaccinated.
MMR vaccine wasn’t out until about 1970. Chicken pox in the 90s.

A recent study found that adults get the flu twice per decade on average, but children are infected once every other year on average.
