Donald Trump dropped yet another absolutely bonkers statement about the 2020 results in Arizona, demanding an election redo or that he be declared the winner.

Trump has continued to cling to the big lie, and has embraced the widely-mocked Republican push for auditing the 2020 election results.

A Pima County, Arizona official said after the Maricopa County audit, “it has done a lot of damage to voter confidence across the state and across the country.”

Trump is now glomming onto claims of election fraud in Pima County, declaring falsely once again that “the election was Rigged and Stolen from the Republican Party in 2020, and in particular, its Presidential Candidate.”

He claimed that the Justice Department had this information since last November and didn’t act. You may remember that in December, Attorney General Bill Barr unequivocally stated, “To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election.”

Trump concluded his statement by declaring, “Either a new Election should immediately take place or the past Election should be decertified and the Republican candidate declared the winner.”

Even though the stench of tRump is currently in the midst on a destructive mission against the soul of humanity, consider the following details because if tRump thinks he is the immortal and tyrannical king of the world, nature and hopefully Justice disagrees:

Bennie Thompson not ruling out subpoenaing Trump

Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.), the chairman of the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, did not rule out subpoenaing former President Trump when asked about the possibility during an interview on Thursday.

“Are you ruling out or ruling in the possibility of eventually subpoenaing Trump?” CNN’s Wolf Blitzer asked Thompson.

“Well, I would say this at this point, Wolf, nobody is off limits to a subpoena from this committee,” Thompson responded.

He added that “a lot of what we decide” on Trump will depend on how much information the Biden White House provides to the committee, despite Trump’s claims of executive privilege.

The White House on Wednesday formally rejected an attempt by Trump to exert executive privilege over a set of documents the panel had requested."

People like guano don't get it. Trump is a minor player in the 2022 election. What's going to make or break the election are how Biden and the Democrats are handling issues.

Right now, Biden and the Democrats are absolutely fucked come November 2022. Their legislative agenda is DIW, and Biden has completely fucked away every possible issue he could so thoroughly that it's doubtful he can recover before that election. Name an issue and Biden, aided by the Progressive Left, has completely screwed the pooch with somewhere around two thirds of voters.

Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

Subpoena Trump and his minions a million times and it will make ZERO DIFFERENCE in 2022. That the economy is imploding under inflation, that employment is stagnant, that illegal immigration is completely out of control, that foreign policy is a shipwreck that makes the Titanic look like a clerical error, and that the Progressive wing of the Democrat party is focused mainly on bullshit will end in one of the biggest, most disastrous, mid-term elections the Democrats have ever been creamed in, and that's what's coming right now. I seriously doubt the Democrats can change course to that outcome either...

Nutjobs exist. Trump is, without a doubt, fucking crazy. What fascinates me isn't that a rich guy is fucking bonkers, but that both a major US political party and millions of Americans are following him to Cray-Cray Town.

No doubt the Biden administration has botched a few things but to be fair, they're also cleaning up the mess Trump made.

I'm personally disgusted by the continual failures of leadership coming from both the Democrats and the Republicans. Both are more intent about pushing their agendas than pushing what is best for the nation.

That said, Trump is a danger to our Constitution because he's willing to use violence to abuse governmental powers and overthrow our government. In comparison, Democrats are the most responsible party on the Hill.... and both you and I know that isn't saying much.
God bless America and those who defend our Constitution.

the fraud was more than the margin of Joe's "win", so, it's reasonable.

    God Bless America!

did you miss the time article where the establishment confesssd their cheating?

    , Trump was right.

There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans. The pact was formalized in a terse, little-noticed joint statement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and AFL-CIO published on Election Day. Both sides would come to see it as a sort of implicit bargain–inspired by the summer’s massive, sometimes destructive racial-justice protests–in which the forces of labor came together with the forces of capital to keep the peace and oppose Trump’s assault on democracy.

The handshake between business and labor was just one component of a vast, cross-partisan campaign to protect the election–an extraordinary shadow effort dedicated not to winning the vote but to ensuring it would be free and fair, credible and uncorrupted. For more than a year, a loosely organized coalition of operatives scrambled to shore up America’s institutions as they came under simultaneous attack from a remorseless pandemic and an autocratically inclined President. Though much of this activity took place on the left, it was separate from the Biden campaign and crossed ideological lines, with crucial contributions by nonpartisan and conservative actors. The scenario the shadow campaigners were desperate to stop was not a Trump victory. It was an election so calamitous that no result could be discerned at all, a failure of the central act of democratic self-governance that has been a hallmark of America since its founding.

Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding. They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time. They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears. They executed national public-awareness campaigns that helped Americans understand how the vote count would unfold over days or weeks, preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories and false claims of victory from getting more traction. After Election Day, they monitored every pressure point to ensure that Trump could not overturn the result. “The untold story of the election is the thousands of people of both parties who accomplished the triumph of American democracy at its very foundation,” says Norm Eisen, a prominent lawyer and former Obama Administration official who recruited Republicans and Democrats to the board of the Voter Protection Program.
