No, government should not intervene in the market to allow that to happen which it does under current law.

Fast food places aren't "dirty." They get regular inspections and there are lots of rules and regulations about cleanliness. Workers today even have to get a food handler's certificate to work there. They usually aren't "hot" either having air conditioning and OSHA rules about such things that have to be met.

Hell, even McDonald's offers benefits today...

    Flexible work schedules
    401K package
    Tuition assistance
    Life insurance
    Health insurance
    A bonus plan
    Family and medical leave

While these might not be as generous as some corporation with a higher level of employee skills, education, and such, they're still offering that stuff, and all without a union.

Most large corporations with a skilled workforce offer great benefits, union or not.

Unions have lost their clout because they don't do anything for workers anymore. If they did, people would be willing to join.
Yeah, it's true the McDonald's is finally beginning to treat their workers with basic dignity, but it's far from where we should be as a nation. America is second-rate when it comes to worker rights as a whole, and a big reason is due to lack of labor laws.

Guaranteed minimum wage, guaranteed benefits, time off/leave, safe workplace, etc.

Why do you think so many employers are having a hard time finding workers now?

The fact that you have to explain that is indicative of what a sorry state of affairs this country is in. Are these folks even aware that there are child labor laws? They set such a low bar which hurts everyone...so sick of them! These are the types who would be loyal to a sovereign and still support feudalism.

A Modest Proposal For Separating Blue States From Red

    Dear Red-State Trump Voter,
Let’s face it, guys: We’re done.

It is a tragedy that so much of the work that so many men and women toiled at for so long to make this a better country, and a better world, has been thrown away, leaving us all in such needless peril.

This is why our separation in all but name is necessary.

The average Japanese worker does 10 to 12 hours per day and gets no overtime. 46 to 48 hours a week is the norm.

What the article does is cherry pick items from other nations and compare these to the US. Then the article argues that the solution is more government regulation and what amounts to more socialism.

As for which party cares about workers? Neither. The Democrats are pushing right now to force more workers into unions because unions support Democrats, as but one example of how both parties do things that aren't in worker's best interests.
Why aren't you working instead of posting nonsense on this forum?????????????????
