The DOJ is investigating HIM not the Kansas City PD.

That said, there are elements of truth in what both you and APL are saying.

There are levels of corruption and varieties of levels of racism based on location in a nation as large as ours.

The good news is that assholes like Golubski are being tolerated less. This doesn't fix the harm he did in the past, but it can prevent more harm from being done by people like him in the present and future.

If guilty, the fucker deserves to lose his pension.

FWIW, notice he wasn't exploiting middle-class office workers. He was exploiting the poor and criminals in the form of prostitutes. That doesn't make it okay, but it puts a different perspective on his crimes such as crooked cops robbing drug dealers. Lock all of them up!

During a civil court deposition last year, he repeatedly invoked his constitutional right against self-incrimination, pleading the Fifth over and over again. An attorney representing Golubski in the civil case declined comment, citing the pending litigation....

One witness after another described him as being obsessed with Black female prostitutes and of using the power of his badge to extort them for sex and information. The civil lawsuit accused Golubski of being on the payroll of a local drug kingpin and giving him information and protection in exchange for cash and drugs that he would in turn use to ply his stable of prostitutes.

Nothing overt, but it's a sense that a person doesn't like "the look of you". Changes in behavior by how they treat me and how they treat others like themselves.

It was racism. It was a PR inserting himself into something me and a black friend were doing based on race.

We were shooting paper bullets at each other, one came close to my eye, and I said "Hey, ______, slow down, that almost hit me in the eye."
