Creating a new word doesn't change the actions of people. This has been well discussed for years so if you haven't been following I don't know what to say.

There are people like the OP that try to pass off any push back against wokeness as right-wing anger/racism but that attitude is coming from ignorance (lack of knowledge of the subject) or just denial/partisanship. When liberals talk about there being a wokeness problem then that argument rings hollow.

If you're interested in hearing more about wokeness I'd recommend reading the work of John McWhorter. He's a black intellectual, author, professor of linguistics at Columbia, writer for the New York Times and a Trump hating Democrat. What's interesting about him however is he's a heterodox on racial issues. He has large amounts of work available on the web about wokeness. He even has a new book coming out in a couple of weeks:
