He doesn't care about the state of religion. His interest is in you, me and every other individual.
Saving our souls is his full time job, so important he sacrificed his only son that we might have eternal life.
That transaction happens one by one and is solely between God and the individual.
Its as easy to cast dispersion on "religion" as it is to cast it on any other human activity. Its best to separate faith from religion. Religion may be a fine way to help you come to understand God better (or a shitty one depending on which one) but anything thats not between you and God is meaningless.

Atheists actually avoid religious discussions, in most cases. They have learned that religious people will judge them badly and may be aggressive. Fellow workers will treat them badly. It can hurt advancement. So we keep quiet.

Fair enough though I think it is pretty radical to say that the world's four billion Jews, Christians, Muslims, and Hindus are insulting to God.

I think there are specific groups or sects of people in religious faith traditions, in atheism, even in agnostic communities who are ethically corrupt and blatantly violate a universal moral consciousness.

I do not put that much thought into individual, obscure message board posters. I am broadly interested in the great intellectual thinkers and philosophies of atheism, of Christianity, of Confucianism, of Hinduism, of Daoism, etc., and I have the posts to prove it.
